Re: Shaping The Eyebrows
Considering the hadith about plucking eyebrows...
Isn't cutting your hair "changing" the creation of Allah? What about your nails (pedicure manicure, etc.?)?
What about make up?
Wearing heels?
earrings? I am sure no body is born with hole in their earlobe...
nose rings?
"Changing" creation of Allah argument is absurd to say the least.

We can't the changing of Allah's (SWT) creation argument is absurd unless you mean that in the context of eyebrows it is absurd in which case I agree. As far as I understand from the hadith the only reasons for not doing so are:
1) Self-mutilation (shaping is for beautifying so this category is void, however, some people do enage in mutilation of features and that is not allowed)
2) Immitation of bad class of women (This is time dependent as far as I understand)
As for certain things that 'change' the creation of Allah (SWT) some are written explicitly that are considered acceptable or even required.
Cutting nails/hair is from the Fitrah which means it is required.
Wearing jewelry etc by piercings and modification to natural body is acceptable as long as they are not classed as 1) or 2) above.
The 'changing' of creation is a valid argument in many cases such as for example where permanent disfigurement is the result. Even in piercings the 'alteration' may not be permanent.
