I like and wear both as well -- tho lately I wished that more of my clothes were made with trousers or flared legs.

Depending on the kind of fabric it is, I prefer loose shalwars and straight pants. I can't stand shalwars that are tight-fitted at the bottom. And I'm not a fan of bell bottoms either.

i like both but always end up wearing pants/jeanz more than shalwar kameez.

Like both. Like the shalwars with the less ghair but a normal sized paincha, not less than 7.5 inches. with pants i like the striaght ones too but also like the ones which are verrrrry slightly bell bottomed, just a wee bit.
