What do you prefer wearing on a day to day basis? For me it’s western clothes clothes. The problem with desi kapre is that you have to change into Western clothes if you want to go out. I keep the desi clothes for special occasions like Eids and weddings. The only problem is if you wear desi clothes so rarely arranging the dopata bothers you

outside - western clothes.
inside or visitng family - shalwar kameez. the first thing i do when i get home is put on a kameez and trackie bottoms, lol. unless it's the weekend or we're expecting people, then i dress properly.

I agree with mama ki dua.. same situation over here..western.. and shalwaar kameez on special occasions..

I love being in shalwar kameez as much as possible. For uni I wear jeans etc purely because it's more practical but if I'm going shopping with my mum or out for dinner I'll always wear desi clothes instead.

Me too loves shalwar kameez.. i look sooo slim in them.. :) But have to wear western clothes to office and when i go out.

I think shalwar kamiz at home when i am in Holland but in Pakistan wearing western cloths is to much and most of the people who do wear suits or pants (in winter i can imagine but in HOT summer) have inferiority complex and they idolise the WEST.

at home its mostly shalwar kameez..they are just too comfyyy.
sometimes i even opt for shalwar and a top..haha..just like how Kareena did in jab we met..its only at home, so I don't mind looking funny.

That look doesnt look funny. i ADORE that look. Its so gorjus.. I wear them like that too. I even love the 'harem' trousers with a nice fitted t-shirt. Its my fav look.

western clothes when I go outside and desi at home. At home i want to fell comfortable.

shalwar kameez always except for school, and sometimes when i go out.

I get home from work, take off 'teacher' clothes and get into my jammies! I have more pairs of jim jams than I do jeans!
I only get to wear Pakistani clothes on Eid or when im visiting my family.

Mix and match. I wear whatever I feel like. Sometimes I go to uni in western clothes and even pjs and sometimes I wear shalwar kameez. No bother.

i lived in US for 12/13 years and i wore both shalwar kameez and trousers etc.....outside too.
I love desi clothes.. people at work are now placing orders ;) all the Arabs and Gori's
Personally i like shalwar kameez because when you pray its much easier to move around in. When im at home i usually dress in shalwar kameez also because i live in a joint with my dada, chacha and abu and thats how we were brought up.
When i go out to uni or work i mostly dress in western clothing!

desi or western....don't matter to me as long as i'm looking decent in those clothes. but mostly it's western bcoz don't have any shalwar kameez left to wear.

western..every day! comfort ease and in the cold brit weather its so convenient to accesorize with boots, scarves etc...
Doesnt mean i dont love shalwar kameez but i only wear it on dawats, parties, eid and weddings...sad coz i'd love to wear it more but at work its office wear then jammies when I'm home...weekends is jeans and boots time, ultimate comfort! If I lived in pakistan then maybe it would be a different issue....

and jeans in winters :D shalwar kameez or 3quarters in summers
since i live in Pakistan so i can wear whatever i want to when evr :P bt yeah for picnics etc its ALWAYS jeans or something like that. more comfortable

western, just got so use to it.
my mum tried to put me in salwaar kameez when i was a kid but i was a bit of a tomboy and preferred western wear, since then its stuck. but after marrying, im more into salwaar kameez, and have become aware of how feminine and pretty salwar kameezay are, still i only wear them for eid or weddings, though i do think that they would suffice for going out to dinner or nice dos too, cos salwar kameezay can be more glam than some posh western wear. im also a trainers gal, and trainers do NOT go with salwar kameez lol, so yup, western wear most of the time.
