Not really watching Pakistani dramas anymore but came across this one and liked it. Anyone else watching? Thoughts?

If you don’t care what the story is there are several other dramas that can fulfill your desires.

Drama is interesting.. specially I like stupid peet ka halka taklo guy… every bits of information he transfers to his wife…
Ayesha and Adeel… they are struggling… some conceiving problem etc… It looks Adeel is reluctant to see doctor…
Plus their hugging scenes… I was expecting a kiss on her hair when he hugged her… seriously… ![]()

There is alot of physical contact between the actors these days. No need to watch movies anymore - all the action is in the drama. I wonder how comfortable it if the actors are married for their spouses to watch. It's a trend that is on the rise. I don't think it is a very good trend. Sometimes it is necessary to the story line but it's become the norm . In a culture that is male dominated and revolves on shaak - this is not a good sign for the general public. Seems like all the actresses are gladly complying with demand. It's not that I am old fashioned - hey I enjoy watching affectionate scenes on tv as much as the next gal but it concerns me of the affects on the actresses and the message it sends to hormone driven public.

agreed we should have the wife refer to her husband as "surtaaj" and serve him tea/coffee on a tray instead.

^^haha very funny. There were many excellent dramas in the past that didn't have as much physical contact and still managed to tell a good story. I watch the dramas for storyline ans acting mostly. The ott physical contact scenes are ever present in western programming and of course our Bollywood and lolly wood movies.
