nonetheless, great captaincy by afridi. he got the passion, and the aggression and the way he brought back cricket to Pakistan it is beyond mentioning. anyho, semifinals are meant to be played by the ones who have better techniques, crowd advantage, and luck.

They fought the 11 players of indian team like men and also the massive media attacks - and they live to fight another day...
Just think if the 100 + million people would fight like these 11 players (even with their shortcomings), Pakistan could be a better country and maybe ruled by some "real" men...(no I am not a Zaid hamid fan....)

I loved his character in pressure. He was Smiling through out the game. He didnt have Smith face when he came to ceremony. He didnt lose his temper for all those drops and finally showed others to catch a freaking ball. Am your official fan now.

He has also learned a lot through the process of leading the team. It was very encouraging to see that he wasn't cussing in the field when fielders were dropping catches left right and center.
He genuinely felt sad at the loss and showed that he's taking the loss seriously.
Absolutely no complaints from him during this tournament - in fact, he's done us proud to get the team to this stage and also perform well at an individual level during the process.
