Shahid Khan Afridi Fan Club

^ There you go guys! Print it out, and frame it. The biggest conversion of the year (so far). Ehsan bhai, you know we all (still) love you.

I say we give an honorary title to our ehsan bhai. From now on, he will be called, Ehsan Khan Afridi on GS.

I second that. Motion is, therefore, carried.

I propose that Ehsan bhai's avatar should be changed to put a nice pic of his hero there. Anyone who seconds this proposal?

qaloo inna lillahi wa inna ilayehi rajioun.

sadaqallahul azeem.

ab aaap Pakistan cricket ki tadfeen kar saktay hayn.

How the hell is shahid afridi better than Shoaib Akhtar????

Afridi's a wicked playa like someone said he dont bore u like the rest of the players he doesnt waste 20 balls just to settle in! as soon as hes on the pitch the crowd alwayz come alive, the guys a legend sambrialian u probably couldnt see talent and even if it came up and smacked you in the face!
of course he deserves a place in the team pakistan hasnt been much of a team without him so wat if he goin through a rough patch with his batting hes has the skill and talent to win us a game so give the guy a break,,, and hes a very gud bowler and is known to take crucial wickets at the right time and is a fantastic fielder and encourages all of his team members whilst on the field!
gud u guys aint got a clue have you!

You are right he doesnt waste 20 balls, because by then he is long back in the pavilion.

ohh come on! y r u guys findin it soo difficult just admitting hes a top playa! lets not get carried away the guy has been through a rough patch but ure forgetting hes has been the key to pakistan winning on numerous occasions
face it u guys cant take it coz hes everything u guys probably aint!
so what if he got out a few times attempting to smack the ball come on **** HAPPENS face it!

Guess what when batting he scores on average a massive 23.80 runs and gives away 39.38 when bowling. No wonder the opposition loves him. Great player indeed.

These are the two teams he is going to face in Holland. His batting average against Australia in ODI's is a massvie 12.77, while against India an ordinary 25.78. Bowling wise against Australia 34.76 and India a shameful 59.72. I am sure looking at these figures both Australia and India are quaking in their shoes.

Still I will be happy if he proves me worng. :)

HAHHAHAHA... true.

I think I've been searching for a talent of his for the last 200 or so ODIs that he's played and nothing has hit me yet. I do like how he manages to find new lows for himself though. that might be his special talent?

on a slightly unrelated topic, it is a sad reflection on Pak cricket that Afridi manages to find his way back into the team every other tournament. no other international team would give such an unintelligent player 10 chances much less the 200 that we've given him. that being said I don't mind his being in the team that much because he's always gonna give his best - a best that is more often than not simply not good enough. but just the fact that his name comes up so often worries me about the future of Pak cricket. surely there are more solid performers in Pak cricket than this timeless wonder?

if they selected Afridi for his fielding and bowling (I refuse to believe he has any batting ability, slogging yes, batting NO), they might have just picked Hafeez for a similar role. you get a very similar player who is going to do his best even if it not good enough yet. his bowling is just as good as Afridi's if not better. his fielding is probably better too. Hafeez's batting can improve while Afridi's nonexistent.

QED

OMG u guys have got to be seious ehsan u actually pasted his past performance figure ehehehee come on dats a stupid way of luking at it and u know it! okay so wot if he aint played as well as we liked u cant assume hes going to do the same now we know hes capable of alot more and dats wot matters and if he aint given the chance hows he goin to prove it.
Luk at it this way he can only get better!
slogging is what makes cricket worth watching u tellin me u watch it for those safe ppl who are only too keen to make the singles!
4get itz obvious im wasting my time with u guys!

The guys a legend dats the bottom line
