I brought religion into this. IMO yours and Afirid’s attitude towards women is tainted by religion. Most modern religions suppress women in varying degrees - IMO. We don’t have to have a detailed discussion on this.. which is why I stopped in my earlier post.

Though some of our players bring religion in the game but Afridi is pathan, if you look at his ‘culture’ you will know his comments have nothing to do with religion. Taliban in Afghanistan were bashed left and right for “oppression of women” and burqa-clad women were shown whenever there was Taliban news, truth is that ‘buraq-clad’ women still exist in Afghanistan, they have always existed there regardless of who is/was in power. Afridi is from similar culture where women are not supposed to be out from home for work/sports (atleast professionally).
