Ok looks like that no daughter was involved...not to the extent that afridi had to do all this drama at least.....so afridi is even more culprit....afridi simply couldn't control his emotions....
look afridi cannot react like a a normal person ... he is a superstar...we, the normal people, dont have million of followers and fans who will look towards us.....stardom comes with a price...PERIOD. fans will always say stupid stuff.....you ignore them and go home....by doing what he did, he has become hero of waleed and millions like him who may react the same way in similar situations....
just because the fan has said 'all is well" does not absolve afridi from his responsibility...he has done something really stupid and we shd condemn it accordingly.

So to recap, his daughter was present. Some (probably accidentally) stepped on the daughter's toe. Afridi goes all Rambo on that someone. Is this an accurate summary?

Still I cannot excuse Afridi lashing out at people like that. As a sportsman you have got to behave in a less violent and more restrained manner than an ordinary man in the street

This is ridiculous. The crowd does not know there is a child there. You dont have the child walking in a crowd. Someone should have been carryting the child. This was lack of planning on seurity's part and Afridi's family who brough the child to the airport. The crowd did not intentionally do this. If you dont want the crowd to get close to you, make sure security takes care o f this.

I think the biggest criticism should go to the security arrangements. I can't believe a famous sportsman like Afridi just walks off the plane into a huge crowd?

If I were in his place, I would have reacted the same way. Fans need to understand their limits as well. The govt is also equally responsible for not providing security for the most popular cricketer in the country. This was bound to happen.

Before we blame an average joe to show up at airport, Can anyone explain why Wasim Bari was there ?
I know him as someone who has been involved in PCB structure in one way or another ever since his retirement… thats over 25 years ago, he resigns from his posts or gets fired from his posts and then gets brought back in…one of the most disgusting PCB officials in last 30 years.

^ its a question for all fathers, not just Afridi. If your daughter is crushed by crazy fans (regardless of the arguement whether she should be there or not), what reaction would be? SAME.
