its not generalization without cause... thats how afridi behaves which is how they are...its a known fact, not a stereotype. its seen everyday. they are short tempered.

if what you described was true, wouldn't his first reaction be to grab her off the floor and wipe her tears? but in the clips i have seen, there is no daughter anywhere to be seen and multiple angles are shown.

@ManiaX ...You sound an ultimate loser. someone who has never ever achieved anything in his/her life, hence doesnt know how it feels when you achieve something, when you do something great, or when you become a national hero.
So if one is not to believe what Afridi said it relates directly to us as a nation not progressing. I think it is thinking like this which has held us back, where hero worship super cedes everything.

Cricketeer need to realize that wiyhout fans, they are nobody. Respect the hand that feeds you. If his daughter got pushed, that does not justify an all out assault. Could have expected this from a thug, not an international cricketeer.

Its rather disappointing that our media has highlighted this issue to such an extent. It is like media had already made its mind up.
It is not a clear story. Geo overplayed a story and the scenes in the loop. Balanced thing would be to show his interview in a loop too just like they showed that clip.
Afridi is a loose cannon but even if 10 % of what he said is true, then this issue is overblown.
Plus lets not discuss his performances in this thread. We have other thread for that.

FT's video above makes you ponder about many things. First he was being mobbed and where was security from PCB?
It seems they were chasing him for a long distance and were probably yelling and saying stuff which wouldhave been annoying. Maybe they were taunting him thatwe will followyou to home. So he pushed them back...obviously he knew media is always there.
GEO acted like such an irresponsible channel. I could never have believed unless I saw the ARY interview to clear the air. Why did GEO not run and investigate first before acting like cheap masala channels fromacross the border?....very very dissappointing from GEO.
And I am not a devoted fan of afridi, rather the most neutral here.
