this bride is in the same social circle as maheen and all her dresses (minus the valima bunto sari) were from India. I think its the latest trend with the Pakistani elites...
this trend has been going around here for the past 4 years or so nothing new
^ I got in contact with someone from Sabyasachi cos I lyk some of his work ad was interested in the saris and asked about the lengha and even end up sending a pic of the above cos its insipred from the flower power sari and they came back saying it was a fake!!!
Also something similar would be lyk over 2.5k!

I don't like the outfit itself, but that's pretty reasonable for someone who has such a high profile and in comparison to what some of the Pakistani designers charge.
Is that 3 lakh Pakistani?

yeh no i agree indian people and designers are WAY WAY more reasonable, i personally hate alllll indian designers except for saabyiasaatchi yeh that was pakistani rupees indian it was like 2.5 or so...

^ I completely agree Pakistani designers can make amazing dresses in that range and I prefer them over their indian counterparts, but you have to admit there is some heavily detailed work in that sabyasachi piece. Also with his general recognition, I would have expected it to cost twice as much, but that's just me guessing.
