I heard the clothes weren't anything great but the decor, food, etc was pretty good. I don't think my aunt took any pictures but I'll ask her to send some if she finds them.

yeah its surprising...i think she looks better in regular pictures than she did on her valima. and argh, I cant stand Sara Taseer Shoaib after she took down the people who made the blog with that feature 'a little too inspired'.....cant remember the name right now.
Yeah, her bridal dress (purple and red with big flowers all over 
) was a let down as well.
I don’t remember the name either.. but gosh, I have no respect for Sara Taseer after the interviews she gave against Farah Khan who she blatantly stole designs from. She could have given a dignified response to the accusations but instead she chose to stoop really low, attacking her family, calling her brother names, showing off about her own political family, and so much more- it was the kind of nasty, condescending words and tone you would expect from a really shallow person. Farah Khan on the other hand totally surprised me with her approach to this entire thing. My mom liked a few of Sara’s jewelry pieces, and I told her there was no way Im buying from this woman.

I think all the girls I knew who were just insanely stunning in everyday life ended being ‘so-so’ brides…except for one I knew who was posted on gupshup, she was a beautiful bride but she wore so much makeup in day to day life that she looked exactly the same on her big day so it wasnt this huge transformation or anything.
Khair, I think you described the whole Sara Taseer thing perfectly…I really didn’t understand why she needed to insult their family or brag about hers and her connections. No one outside Pakistan would even know who they are and its sad that she uses her connections to intimidate and shut people up. good for you for refusing to support her!! 
I think the blog was called Style Stripped - the creator of the blog a few times called out Sara Taseer for blatantly copying other designers…such a shame!! I reading somewhere on Gupshup that one of the main reasons the blog was shut down was because it criticized Sara Taseer…she has own amateurish blog…

^lol yeah, she and her father threatened the owners of the site and all that because they were the ones to carry out an entire article about her copying farah khan's designs, it was all over the papers and news- ridiculous!
they threatened them AND outed their identities...they were apparently the husband-wife team owners of some boutique and knew a lot of famous people in the industry. outing them meant the Taseers could take away their business....now Style Stripped (thanks firefly) is members only.

Ok, I saw the pictures from their nikkah, mayun, mehndi, shaadi and valima, Im a bit disappointed =/ The bride, for some reason, decided to wear a mix of atleast 4-5 colors on every event except for the Nikkah and Valima. Same thing with her hair and makeup, it all ended up looking the same in the end. But I loved the decor and all the events looked really fun. I think dailytimes should be posting some pictures soon in their online mag.

^ shes wearing sabyasachi .. i ike the upper half of the ensemble, but not the lehnga... :S too many colors and embroidery based make it look a little more pret-ish ...

^ I've seen that Sabyasachi piece on a couple of people now - not a fan of this one. I agree - I don't like the lehngha either.
