i bet anything that the mulsims most peeved or AcTinG that way about this r the ones who r womanizers and lard eaters themsleves..like to preach but not practice....dramebaaz log..or mayb just jealous of king khan..
srk seems like a very nice person...he wouldnot say anything like that when he himself is a muslim (doesnot matter how he is following it..becauz thats btw him n allah)...but i have seen a lot of respect for islam when he speaks..media ne kuch aur hi story bana di hai
Well, in that group of people he also named Churchill who was fighting against Hitler, so he could never have meant something negative. Nobody is angry that he mentioned Churchill and I don't see people representing Churchill (you know, historical groups who preserve the memory of important people in history) feeling insulted.
It doesn't sound like he said that in his opinion Hitler and Muhammad (pbuh) would have the same character, he knows very well that's not true, it sounds like he only meant, that they and Churchill had quite an influence in the world. They all had people following them. That's all.
Well, you have to admit, that Hitler unfortunately did have many followers, but so did Churchill and alhamdoelielah Muhammad (pbuh) had many followers too. That's all he meant in my opinion, it doesn't sound like he said that they had the same kind of characters, only that they all had influence in the world. Hitler had of course a very negative influence, while Churchill had a better influence and Muhammad (pbuh) had a wonderful influence in the world. The comparison stops here. Every Muslim knows there isn't and there never will be any amazing human being like our Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).
Perhaps my thinking is wrong, but I don't find anything insulting here, only a small misunderstanding of some people which is becoming worse than it actually is, simply because it involves a famous actor whose comments are more read than other people. (isn't it weird when you think about it actually, that nowadays everyone knows what moviestars say, but very few people know what a religious leader said or a politician or someone other than a movie star? not that I have something against them though)
(about his marriage by the way, I've read somewhere that Muslims should only marry the People of the Book, so no spouse from a Hindu religion? And the children should be raised as Muslims? So what about Shah Ruh Khans marriage in light of Islam then? So the Mughals were wrong too when they married Hindu princesses? But they had to to keep the peace I suppose. But now I'm going way off topic, just puzzling and wondering)
