Re: Peshawarites’ romance with PTI is over
A good candidate would probably have succeeded against bilour. That was a seat lost out of own doing. Billour is a heave weight and gul badshah had its workout. Added by infighting and no support from TRs in peshawar, this seat was lost. PTI voter simply did not come out. Bilour got his votes. PTI did not.
people of pakistan wants to see local presence of MNAs as well. Not attending funerals of MPA might have been considered unimportant by PTI MPAs but opponents have pounced on it.
PTI also needs to improve its media campaign and focus on advertising its initiatives. Showbaziyan kerni parengi achay projects ki otherwise its a soft target and will continue to be targeted. Being a coalition govt, it has been slow to take off in kpk. However they have started sorting out the basis and laying out foundation with impressive laws and initiatives.
but one thing that I cannot fathom that how can a govt be declared a failure in two months, not even three when its governing for the first time? boggles one’s mind.
Govts like punjab and sindh are in their 6th year. Their barometers should be tighter. But thats’s another thing that no one expects anything substantial from them.
so first Khattak pledged to follow $hehbz in re-building Peshawar, and now he should follow him in $howbazian as well? the other day people were complaining about PTI leaders publishing their photo’s with RTI ad so now this will be a routine strategy?
