. I just wish people like Amin Fahim had the gall to do it long ago.. when they were sidelined.
If parties only consisted of people who got the positions/ministries they wanted, each party would only have 50-100 members.
Most people join just one party in their lifetime, this is his third.

BB was running to be PM herself.
She put him in charge when she was in exile. She never wanted him taking over the party.

Obviously she was but Amin Fahim was his number two and head of PPPP. The way Zardari sidelined him was a perfect example of how Zardari hijacked the party. That was my point. Amin Fahim stayed sidelined for a while before accepting something as ineffective as Trade Minister.

LOTA is someone who wins the election with a party but, he joins another party without resigning from his seat (PML n using so called Hamkhaiyal or like minded in Punjab Assembly).
As long as he resign from Party as well as his Parlimantory seat he has done honourable thing, he has all rights to any party he like.

Imran has taken a step back by saying that SMQ has been given an invitation to join PTI but the final decision rests with SMQ. Imran is saying this after declaring live on TV that SMQ would be joining PTI on 27th of this month. It looks like SMQ is still in two minds.

I wish we could use US analogy when talking about our political parties. In our country ministers can openly claim “corruption is our right” or “burying daughters alive is our tradition” and still not be prosecuted in court of law, it was good attempt on your part to provide humour though :k:
