We do have a matrimonial thread in Wedding and we have some folks who have posted rishtas. However, GS doesn’t manage them, so the poster posts their personal information and mode of contact. I’ve had a few PMs from members who’ve gotten some leads via that thread. But really I don’t know how effective it is.
I guess a proper interactive forum for matrimonials would entail more detailed logistics, more staff, databases, etc. And just like other matrimonial sites, GS would take responsibility but sor of faciliate the process of doing a “search.” It can surely be done if the infrastructure can be established.
