Does anyone know of a website where I can find local listing of sex offenders in my area? Someone told me to check the local police but I rather just see it online. Just curious and good to know as I live alone. Thanks!

In my area the local news channels are always saying they have a link to the list on their website, so maybe check with those in ur area.

nah! they have pictures of the offenders... they are either extremely masculine looking hairy women or they are men...

For me, this has always been a major factor in looking for a new apartment or a house. I almost made an offer last year on a house about which I found out later that it was 3 houses down from a listed sex offender.
