When I was in school in Pakistan, they took our biology books, and completely ripped out those pages that had the remotest hint of menstrual cycle, reproduction, and stuff like that. This was a school that was O level, had all girls in it. I have heard similar stories from others that had primary education in Pakistan.

Ahaha been there, our Bio books in eighth grade had all the reproduction pages cut out (this was in Saudi Arabia). And then there was always this one lucky kid whose book was missed and everyone would crowd around and go all giggity.

So how do pass O Level biology then? That is part of the syllabus.

I dropped it in 9th grade but I heard from the other guys they do skim over the reproduction stuff. The most I heard until 9th grade was one line from the Bio teacher “Andthepenisgoesintovaginareleasesspermandfertilisesegg”.
