most of on Gs are Pakistanis. even if we are raising our kids in USA/UK, they know that their parents do know or speak Urdu ..
so my simple question is, if one day they walk up to you/me/us and say .. hey papa, what do you call penis in your language, what should be the appropriate answer since you dont want me to tell that its called Kursi
Down playing the names of sexual organs do make a difference.
I am sure the kids growing up in US/UK also know that their parents know English. So why should a kid want to know what that body part is called in Urdu (or some other language) ?
Downplaying ANY discussion about 'those' bodyparts will be helpful :)
Given the exposure kids growing up in the west get these days, I would rather have my kids learn about things the correct & official & controlled way, than to have their more 'informed' friends/classmates tell them their version.
