Big goes to Paris and gets her back.
Both of them were missing each other so Carrie's friends invited him over for lunch and made him realize that he shouldn't just forget his love etc etc. Finally, he decides to go and bring her back.

She runs into Big as she leaves, he finds out what happens, threatens to beat up Alexander, in the end of that they tumble on the floor laughing.
The very end of the series is when she's walking on the street and she gets a call from "Big" and you see her cell phone and his real name.... John. So she ends up with him.
WB/CW and TBS aire reruns.

^ Hayden. I like Bigg. I just think it was a bit unrealistic when after being afraid of commitment through all the seasons he finally comes around in the very last episode. I miss that show. :(
