BTW there is similar phenomenon described in medical books…mainly books on sleep and it has a term which I cannot remember…just being lazy right now.

For the first part of your question I would say the Jinn are creatures whom Allah created to worship Him. Allah created humans for the same purpose. Allah says: “I have only created Jinns and men, that they may serve Me” [Sûrah al-Dhâriyât: 56].
The Jinns were mentioned in the Qur’ân and Sunnah. It was mentioned that some of them are believers while others are unbelievers.
The other rulings related to them were also mentioned in Sunnah.
They can attack houses and they may kill people also. They kill for revenge if someone hurts them or without any reason. Same as what takes place among people. All the information you need to know about their attacking, joining humans in their food, their drink and food and some other description may be obtained from certain books that are available in the market.
About a sexual relationship between Jinn and human, the scholars say that is possible. Allah says, describing the Hûr al-`În of Paradise: “…whom no man or Jinn before them has touched.” [Sûrah al-Rahmân: 56]
Imam Ibn Taymiyah said that is possible. [Majmû` al-Fatâwâ (19/39)]. He said that is it possible to have a baby of that relation. And that it had actually taken place.
But, even if it is possible, many scholars disliked it such as al-Hasan and Qatâdah and Ishâq.
Imam Mâlik did not find evidence that forbid marriage between Jinn and humans but he did not prefer it. He said: It might be possible that when you find a pregnant woman she would blame it on the Jinn. In this way much mischief will prevail.
Others have denied the possibility of such a thing. They support their opinion by Allah’s saying: “And among His signs is this, that He created for you mates from among yourselves, that ye may dwell in tranquility with them, and He has put love and mercy between your (hearts): verily in that are signs for those who reflect” Sûrah al-Rûm: 21]
If such a marriage took place, it will not be smooth and comfortable because of the difference in their creations. Thus, the wisdom for marriage will be defeated. The dwelling in contentment, love and mercy, as mentioned in the verse, will not occur.

I dont think that humans or Jinns can get pregnant if they go all the way. However I would still STRONGLY recommend using protection (condoms or pills) in such situations, to both Jinn and Human.

Sadiyah, if this is the ayah they are using to say that Jinns and humans can have sexual relations, then I have to say its weak evidence. Hur are not humans entirely, or at least its not confirmed whether they are or aren't.
Therefore, here it is in reference to Hurs, that Allah says no man or Jinn has touched. Not female human women.

Jinn have been defined differently by different people. But to impregnate a woman one needs human chromosomes semen. So, UTD no you can't do that.
