Its not a bad question actually. I’ve heard this a lot from desis. Not sure about actual impregnation, but definitely about sex. It appeared in a magaizine article on jinns in Pakistan, and one guy said that he awoke to a female jinn on top of him.

Although of course, how true this is, I don’t know.

I’ve also heard that jinns can fall in love with humans.

And what’s so un-serious about the subject? Isn’t it common knowledge that in sunnah, you’re not supposed to take a long shower (girls at least) because jinns are watching…so if they don’t have any interest in human sexuality, then why are they watching?

yes actually ive heard the same thing…ppl claiming that a jinn made sexual advances while they were asleep…i also heard u shouldnt really discuss jinns.

bhoots dont exist jinns do. u know how on the history channel or perhaps discovery ppl talk about coming into contact with a ghost and several ppl can claim the same thing…well i used to think they were lying until oneday a friend of mine was like…maybe it’s true…except what they thing is a “spirit” or ghost is actually a jinn:eek:

The only thing I heard and it may not be true for I never found any evidence (or rather never sought for one) is that Kiraaman Katibeen move their eyes away from you in such situations so it’s said not to talk.

Also, it is said that there could be jinns or shaitaan around. Therefore, there’s a duaa that is to be recited when entering the bathroom:

“Oh Allah! I seek refuge in you from male and female devils.”

Looked it up and the duaa is coming Sunan Abu Dawud:

 The Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) said: These privies are frequented by the jinns and devils. So when anyone amongst you goes there, he should say: "I seek refuge in Allah from male and female devils."

Quraan only confirms that Gins are present but no one can claim he or she has seen a Gin. They are present but cannot be seen as we belive it.

Can anyone say that with authenticity.

Not sure though in our muhala it was famaous that the jinns used to come to our local Mosque Maulvi sahib to learn Qura'an.

Also heard when you see shooting stars its actually Allah (SWT) hitting the jinns who try to listen to the conversation between Allah (SWT) and Angels.

As I said I am not sure but the last part sound a little hilarious :)

teaser, I havent heard that it was "hitting of the jinn" but have heard that jinns do try to catch the info about a human being from those angels who bring it from Allah to the earth. They catch it and spread the wrong info. Info which is neither wrong nor correct. This is to confuse humans.

Also, I have heard atleast 3 real life stories where a female jinn tried to attract a humam male. In the 3rd case, the female jinn had completely possessed the male and told him that she was an angel.
