This is one of the stupidest statements I have heard from PMLN, apart from their usual everyday idiocies.
Hows does one buy ‘more’ petrol? Are people getting twice as much petrol pumped into their cars and bikes? 25 gallons in a civic as opposed to its 13 gallon capacity? 5 gallons in a bike as opposed to 2.5 gallons?
And no, they are not filling jerry cans either. The largest Ive seen is people coming in with 2 liter pepsi bottles.
The fact that this catastrophe occurred is one thing. But the blatantly stupid defense which PMLN officials have launched is even more catastrophic. The idea is to prevent any responsibility from hitting the big 3 (sharif brothers and ishaq dar), who are the actual culprits in this crime.
