PTI workers hold protest in Islamabad, Punjab

Re: Several injured as PTI, PML-N supporters clash in Faisalabad

He has a right to protest like anyone else, the govt is responsible for maintaining law and order through the law enforcing agencies and not through their goons. Model town cannot be written off just as a tragedy . 14 people were murdered on the orders of the Punjab govt. There has to be accountability for that.

Re: Several injured as PTI, PML-N supporters clash in Faisalabad

So lets us say, NS resigns, new election called and someone else become PM, how many dead bodies i need and how many rallies i need to conduct in order to get the resignation of the new PM.?

Re: Several injured as PTI, PML-N supporters clash in Faisalabad

Right to protest but not right to force others to shut down their businesses?.. or does he have that right too?

Re: Several injured as PTI, PML-N supporters clash in Faisalabad

He doesnt have that right and if PTI guys were forcing people to close their businesses than the law enforcement agencies should have protected them not PMLN goons firing and killing.

PTI calls for countrywide day of mourning after activist killed in Faisalabad - Pakistan - DAWN.COM

Re: Several injured as PTI, PML-N supporters clash in Faisalabad

i think i heard some other party doing the same… which party was that… some terrorist kind of party, who is one agitator and who calls for protest and shut down to gets its way and then if some urdu speaking dies… they call for mourning…

IK wanted dead body… and he got one… and now he’d be living on that one for i don’t know how long… all my sympathies to the family members of the guy, this shouldn’t have happened but i guess we are not that civilized and this is considered normal… 48+ people were killed in Karachi, lawyers are burned alive, 16+ were killed in Lahore… and 2 killed in Multan ( to which SMQ of PTI said, it is normal or something like that) day or two ago one got killed in Peshawar and list is long..

one thing common though, never ever this have happened that son of some VIP or leader have been killed… never ever they have to bury their loved ones…

Nation of fools, led by fools…

**Imran indulging in ‘political terrorism’: Pervez Rashid
**
ISLAMABAD: Information Minister Pervez Rashid has accused Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan of trying to ‘terrorise’ the judiciary into giving decisions that were to his liking.

“Mr Khan wants to terrorise the courts. He wants to put courts under pressure. It is the terrorists’ way to get decisions of their liking at gunpoint; [such behaviour] does not behove a democratic politician,” the minister told a press conference, held shortly after Mr Khan’s presser in Bani Gala, on Sunday.

The minister used the term “political terrorism” to describe the PTI’s agitational approach, saying: “Whenever we succeed in saving the country from terrorists, we fall prey to political terrorism.”

Mr Rashid alleged that the PTI chief was working on a plan that would vindicate a certain shade of opinion in the international media, which holds that Pakistan’s geography would be changed by Dec 2015.

He also criticised Mr Khan for adopting a new position: that PTI members would not return to the National Assembly, come what may. Calling it “another U-Turn”, the minister said the PTI chief had said on a number of occasions that he would end his protest if the judicial commission declared that the 2013 elections were not widely rigged.

He reiterated the government’s stance, saying that the PTI would have to call off its protest if it wanted to return to the negotiating table.

“We are sitting here, waiting for you to come to us for talks after calling off the protest,” the minister said when asked if the government had any conditions regarding the resumption of talks.

Even terrorists announced that they would cease their activities during talks with the government, Mr Rashid mused.

“Talks are held with a cool head. With hot heads, one can only fight. We want Mr Khan to cool down so talks can begin,” the minister said, adding: “Imran Khan should announce that he will participate in the negotiations and not in the sit-in.”

While extending the PTI an olive branch, the minister also said that there was no point in holding further talks after Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s Aug 13 letter to the Chief Justice of Pakistan, asking him to form a judicial commission to investigate Mr Khan’s allegations.

Earlier in the day, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar spoke at a ceremony organised by the All Pakistan Newspapers Society, alleging that the sit-in might be part of an international conspiracy to set Pakistan in the wrong direction.

He said the PTI would have to prove that there was systematic and planned rigging aimed at bringing the PML-N into power in last year’s elections.

“We believe in the reforms spelled out by the PTI and have formed a parliamentary committee to make elections more transparent,” Mr Dar said.

Re: Several injured as PTI, PML-N supporters clash in Faisalabad

Every party has goons & PTI is no exception...in fact PTI is trying to replicate MQM in rest of the country. If PTI/IK are trying to shut down the businesses by force & their workers are clashing with police who should be responsible for that? Should govt just sit and do nothing? PTI is looking for this b/c their other "plans" have failed. IK should be in jail along with rest of the agitators if they don't end this drama.

Re: Several injured as PTI, PML-N supporters clash in Faisalabad

If PTI were shutting down business by force than police yes Goons no. The murders committed were by PMLN goons and not the law enforcing authorities. That is the big difference.

Re: Several injured as PTI, PML-N supporters clash in Faisalabad

yes, and police stood by and watched. the ppolice wasn't prepared to handle the crowd. they did NOT carry arms and were told to wait for the orders from the higher ups to take actions which never came. those PMLN goons were accompanied by police when they were throwing eggs/tomatoes, throwing rocks on PTI workers and finally started fist to fist fight wih PTI supporters/workers.

brazing negligence. the nation was told by Khursheed Shah, Chowdhury Nisar that police was ready to handle the situation....yeah, fully prepared to watch the situation get ugly and escort the Gullu Butts of PMLN.

Re: Several injured as PTI, PML-N supporters clash in Faisalabad

Rana what do you have to say about this?

Re: Several injured as PTI, PML-N supporters clash in Faisalabad

And it’s completely okay for them to do it but when PTI does it oh they are classed as terrorist…Hypocrisy at its best

Re: Several injured as PTI, PML-N supporters clash in Faisalabad

Man I cant stand Imran Khan ! ! !

Re: Several injured as PTI, PML-N supporters clash in Faisalabad

This man have stated yesterday that even if Judicial commission says that there is no massive rigging, we still are not going to assemblies and shall prepare for next elections...

i mean elections without reforms and then he'll be crying foul again???

Re: Several injured as PTI, PML-N supporters clash in Faisalabad

This craziness must stop at all cost.

PML(N) govt has been totally unable to handle opposition, protests etc. When you can baton charge the handicapped, wut else one expect from you?

On the other hand PTI is responsible too. They'd been desperately seeking blood since first day, violating laws and trying to win sympathies and furor. I've seen all this in karachi and sorry to say PTI is just acting on the page from notebook of MQM. Not sure what good they are doing for the country by this.

Re: Several injured as PTI, PML-N supporters clash in Faisalabad

oh bhai sahib, its a crime to protest against injustice, simple as that. If someone robs you, if you protest against the robbery and get killed then its your fault.

Re: Several injured as PTI, PML-N supporters clash in Faisalabad

Are PMLN supporters the new law enforcement agency of the country? Thank you for the confirmation though.
