If you are settling for 2nd. best because the first was "out of reach", then hello!? You didn't qualify. So isn't second best really best?
I think I've come across too many people that feel they could have done better. I really wish reality would hit....and hit hard at them. It usually does though. There comes a day when that which they thought wasn't good enough, wants nothing to do with them.
I firmly believe that we are coupled by Allah's wish. And in each union there are lessons to be learned by both parties........but that's another thread isn't it?
