Re: Serving left over vs cooking less to begin with
I think that 'hubby's expecting fresh food everyday' is somehow got confused with 'hubby's expecting biryani/qorma everyday' . Guys enjoy a simple meal as much as they enjoy a feast. For me, I love eating arhar kee dal with ghee lagee roti ..

And whats wro g with expecting freshly cooked food anyways Why do women make such a huge deal outta it, especially the houswives.... Is it really that hard?

So if you cook a smaller quantity of food....that will finish quickly.....that would mean that you have to cook more often, right? And cooking everyday (which does happen in some households) can be hard for some people. I don't mind eating leftovers the next day....or maybe even the day after (depending on what the salan is). Sometimes it depends on my mood as well.

But honestly its amazing how many women have their men thinking its perfectly ok to be eating baasi khana and on top of that, to never complain AND be thankful for the 4day old food…
