This reminds me, one paan wala in kanpur told me, Nawab log chandni raat mein bhi chattri (umbrella) lekar chalte they:D, ki kahin chandni is unka jism na jal jaye:D

Nawab saheb was afraid of sun stroke, so hw took umbrella in nights to avoid moon strook.. isse salees urdu main issi muhavre ke sath yaad kia jata hai.
