seriously, was it just a game?

lol dramatic bollywood style

that's awful... Indian news is horrible. don't know how people tolerate the rhyming couplet style of narration. it's news. not a mushaira.

but I must that Geo's coverage has been quite obnoxious as well... it was just one damn match. we haven't even made the semis yet... but Geo was celebrating as if we won the 2011 world cup.

Re: seriously, was it just a game?

this is so bad… that it’s almost enjoyable in a sadistic way. just terrible… hate the rhyming…

Re: seriously, was it just a game?

this is lil too much... India did play really well and tried hard but one has to loose...

Re: seriously, was it just a game?

woah! I dont keep up with desi media but I suppose this is how things are in both countries... this newscast is worse than reading a gossip/sensation tabloid.

The second clip is passable but the first clip is truly horrible - oversensationalism at its best.

First they make them into heros they are not, then they rip them apart when they can't perform bollywood style. :)

Re: seriously, was it just a game?

ahh the first clip is a bit too much !!.. they should appreciate their team for trying to chase huge score.. I feel sorry for indian team now..

Re: seriously, was it just a game?

..

can't compare the media between the 2 countries. The hype before a big game is always funny to watch and the after effects of a big defeat are even more funnier.

It's funny when the mongoloids across the border make it that big a deal and after (always) facing defeat they can't stop crying inconsolably. ={

Anyone listen to Harsha and Sanjay Retardedraker's interminable whining from the beginning to the end of the match regarding Yuvraj's injury? LOL I laugh at those chicken-hearted cretins.

Boo.

Re: seriously, was it just a game?

that's what the indians are used to, over the top bollywood .. so it makes sense for these outles to sell over the top news.. it's sad really.

Re: seriously, was it just a game?

WT*

WTF isn't censored on here, is it?

So, WTF, Zobia.

Re: seriously, was it just a game?

^haw :o

Another dramatic clip…too harsh and unreasonable. This is upstaging FOX news in oversensationalism 10x

The background music for Tendulkar’s shoulder injury is too much. I believe he should sue the channel for that.

“beech yudh k hee hathyaar ganwa diyey” WTH!! C’mon people, there was no yuddh or any such nonsense going on here. Indian media is too sentimental. Just because India lost against Pakistan does not mean the players deserve this. The media should be supportive of their team in defeat (unless it is an abject surrender or spineless display by the team). It is only a game and one team has to lose unless it’s a draw. There was no shame in how India lost against Pakistan. The batters tried their best, both Gambhir and Raina even briefly threatening to take the game away from Pakistan but the target was just too much in the end. Constructive criticism is all good but this is quite childish indeed

Re: seriously, was it just a game?

Hmmm! nething changes any thing, Hindians are ever so passive and self centered.
At least Pakistan knows where it started to fall and when to get up and get back on track again.
Lessons learned and well reconciliated in all aspacts, well done Pakistan!

And this was pre-match hype!! :hehe:

Re: seriously, was it just a game?

shaniwar my asssss lollll @indian_media grow the f up!

Re: seriously, was it just a game?

Indian media is overly dramatizing the defeat. It is still very much possible that India could go on and win the Trophy and Pakistan could fail to reach the semis.
