The truth is something that is only known by the alleged victim, the alleged abuser and Allah (swt). What happens if there’s no proof, but for this victim’s testimony and she’s telling the truth, but it can’t be proven in court? Does absence of proof or failure to get a conviction against this guy make her a liar and would Allah condemn her and her loved ones for saying out loud a truth that can’t be proven in court?

The fact is we don’t know any details … I’m not calling it a lie by the girl, but it could be a cover up from the girls whole family, we don’t know on what circumstances the man was with the girl or watching, or took forceful action, seduced her, when her parents were around or not and so on … None of this was explained by nadz123 and quite frankly I believe she will never get that level of detail about this matter.

Islam expects us to behave with a lot of caution, it tells us to be paranoid of our own selves …especially regarding instances of leaving two unmarried people alone … But more often than not we diss such laws for being backward or restricting and when things like this happen we blame others and not an iota of blame are we prepared to accept for it.
