I wonder how conveniently people and the press forget that APC never meant PTI which mandated the federal government to hold talks with the TTP. Apart from Sheikh Rashid and Ejazul Haq, almost every political leader made it to the Prime Minister’s House to enjoy the buffet of APC. Yet, when it comes to owning the collective decision, it must be PTI to take the fire.

Could someone please point out a single pre-poll election speech wherein the Sharifs pledged to destroy the TTP with tanks and fighter jets? Why must we sidestep Shahbaz’s appeal to militants to spare Punjab? Yet the Noon League senators have the temerity to offer help to KP to improve law and order!

The only difference between the PTI and the Noon League is that while the former continues to stick to its pre-poll promise of holding talks, the latter stands clearly divorced from its pledges of the same kind.

If election verdict, resolutions of joint sessions of both houses and three APCs are not enough for the leadership of the country to set its direction, then let’s have a referendum to get a clear-cut verdict from the nation. Let’s ask the nation ‘tanks or talks?’ and implement their verdict from the moment it is delivered, unlike sleeping over it like APC’s mandate to the federal government.

Frankly, doesn’t it make PTI a “Friendly opposition”, the title they gave to PML-n for not doing opposition work against PPP? Shehbaz sharif protested against PPP as well as I am sure that you can find clips on youtube where CM Punjab would show up and start naara bazi against federal govt for loadshedding in Punjab, which could mainly be the reason that they sweeped Punjab this time around.

All in all, not a TSUNAMI at all. Any constructive response from PTI jiyalas (err nirralas ?) on why is that instead of throwing filth around at others? People like Silaaj are no better than Sachaydino.

I do have a very good idea about why Imran acts the way that he does but it would get personal. Only if the mods would allow free speech there.
