In Euro2008, Paul got every single German prediction correct except for the final in which he choose Germany to defeat Spain.
Now, the same two teams are playing. So if he has predicted Spain to win, so most likely he will get this wrong. So Germany will win tomorrow.

But I'm sure you can imagine the excitement we're all feeling here after reaching the final. You tend to to scream a lot more :D. It's the same feeling you probably feel when Pakistan wins a major cricketmatch.
And you get even more excited when everyone here feels like you didn't deserve to reach the finals! When the facts are THAT YOU JUST WON 6 CONSECUTIVE MATCHES (yes again, that was written with a lot of excitement! :p ). And even 14 consecutive wins if you go back a little more!
There's no other team in this WC who can say the same :)

The best team does not always win the world cup (Italy for instance in 2006, Germany in 1990) Brazil still reign football as far as I am concerned. They were not disgraced at all. lost to Holland by the narrowest of margins
Have a best of ten games between Brazil and Holland (or Germany) any time. Holland most likely won't win more than 1 or 2 games
Holland were dull today. Spain were boring in the QF against Paraguay, not at all exciting to watch.
As I have said many times before, most of these european teams (unlike Germany ofcourse who have been impressive in attack and open play) are only good at scoring goals thru set pieces i.e. a corner, free-kick, a good header here and there.
But I want to see the team that is also good at scoring open/field goals winning the WC
I was supporting Brazil and Argentina before. And now I want Germany to thrash Spain tomorrow and then lift the World Cup on Sunday by defeating Holland. They have looked the best team by far

You need to understand one thing. No team can play exciting football everytime it steps on field. Spain struggled against Paraguay. But do not forget Germany struglled against Serbia. Every team has to win ugly cuz other teams will play to defend!
Germany rely on counter attacking football at an incredible pace and I love watching them when they break on counter. but dont forget Spains are european champions for a reason and not overhyped at all.. so I expect a nail biter because Spain does not have a suspect defence and a fragile middle order like Argentina did. In fact their middle order is the best in the game with Xabi Alonso, Xavi and Iniesta...
