Re: seeing Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) !
I think all of you are missing one vital factor. The Izn of Allah :)
Re: seeing Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) !
not me
my whole point that boiled the blood was in fact that vital factor.
Re: seeing Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) !
:)
Re: seeing Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) !
I once read that before humans were born, our spirits already were with Allah, and when the call for Hadj or something came, only the people whose spirits at that time replied with "labbaik" will do the Hadj during their life. The number of time you will do Hadj depends on the number of times your spirit replied "labbaik".
Don't know how much of that is true.
Re: seeing Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) !
what is izn?
Re: seeing Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) !
In a translation of a book by Ibn Sirin, which is about the meaning of dreams it says:
*Seeing Rasoeloellah (pbuh) in a dream:
Rasoeloellah (pbuh) has said: "Anyone who sees me in his dreams really has seen me for the devil can't take my shape."
(as others in this thread already mentioned this)
*Seeing Rsoeloellah (pbuh) in a good mood:
... such a dream is predicting good luck and happiness. And if one sees him in a bad mood it means misery and trouble in the world for that person.
*If a grieving person sees Rasoeloellah (pbuh):
If someone with grieve, oppressed en poor dreams about Rasoeloellah (pbuh), his suffering and fears will soon come to an end.
*Seeing Rasoeloelah (pbuh) giving a khutbah:
...means taht the Ummah will obey the laws of the Shari'ah.
*Seeing Rasoeloellah (pbuh) walking:
...is a clue that the Umma should actually be occupied with Jihad. It means the dreamer is neglecting his faith.

Re: seeing Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) !
when i was a boy, i remember seeing the Prophet (saw) and Abu Bakar (ra) with him as well…
they had turbans on their heads, but not white in color…
i never understood the meaning of the dream…
never mentioned it to anyone either…
they did not talk to me, were talking to each other, sitting at the edge of some empty grave…

Re: seeing Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) !
According to Dr. Bilal Philips Ibn Seerin’s Dictionary of Dreams and Dreams and Interpretations are all unauthentic. Ibn Seerin never wrote a book on dreams and all these books are falsely attributed to him.
Re: seeing Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) !
AQ, I did not need for you to point out the so called “regulations”…I knew them already. I can understand that you fail to grasp a simple concept that people take advantage of the system currently in place to perform x numbe rof hajj. Can you not see that you are taking advantage of the situation by performing hajj more than once when there are people who are capable (financially) yet cannot go because some selfish dude knows somebody and wants to go again.
Now I know why people get so frustrated with you because you keep harping on the religious scripture but fail to grasp the human element (in this case it will be your decision to deprive someone else).
Re: seeing Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) !
Kaleem i think its quite disrespectful of you and others in this thread discussion "multiple hajj" issue. Allah granted him 9 hajj's so what's your problem? The point AQ makes is that no matter how much smart you get, no matter how many tricks you can pull to get advantage of the system, in the end Allah knows it and HE blesses the person the gift of multiple hajj..
however, i really dont' like the idea of "lottery for hajj" its just not the correct way of performing this noble deed
just my 25cents
(due to high gas price the price of my opinions has gone up from 2 cents to 25 cents)
Re: seeing Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) !
Ansoon, so go tell the governemnt of Pak to stop doing that....no it is not disrespectful at all. What is disrespectful is that you trying to justify taking away the priviliege of hajj from other muslims and be smug about it.
Your 25 cents are not event worth the 0s and 1s they are produced with.
Re: seeing Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) !
Kaleem in that case, its the Pakistan Govt. fault. Why do they allow those people to take part in the Kura Andaazi who have done Hajj before.
Re: seeing Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) !
I dont know about the govt sharabi....but where is your (in general) personal responsibility to allow others a chance to visit the sacred place? Dont you think that having done it once, twice maybe three times is enough and its time to let others beneift?
Re: seeing Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) !
^ You are forgetting the fact that we are desis. Do you think people in Pakistan care about others? Had we been that considerate, Pakistan would have been somewhere else today.
Having said that, the izn of Allah is the primary factor. If Allah wished a person to go to Hajj 9 times, no one could stop him. And whatever he decrees is best for us. Thats our basic belief and aqeedah. If your mom had to wait for 28 years to go to Hajj, than that was the Will of Allah, and it was better for her and nothing could have changed it.
Re: seeing Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) !
Bahijaan, I agree with Will of Allah...I am not arguing the fact...I was just trying to urge my fellow muslims to think about others after their 3rd Hajj...Is that too much tio ask?
Re: seeing Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) !
so I guess some drug-dealers are better deserving than other people who have resources too
… the reason I’m saying this is because when I was in KSA we saw a particular family we knew was doing “some sort of trade” whenever they came to KSA for “Hajj”, they did Hajj many many times and I’m sure many “undeserving” were waiting in Pakistan.
Re: seeing Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) !
Aap ki baat bajaa hai. Like i said in my earlier post we are one inconsiderate bunch of people. There is no such thing as Huqooq al Ibaad in our dictionaries.
Re: seeing Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) !
ever wonder why desis usually only see Prophet Muhammad and Christians only Maryam or Jesus in their dreams..
