My granpa saw Hazrat Muhammad Sallala hu Alayhe Wasallam 2 times …he passed away last year… he did mashaAllah nine Hajjs during his life…
he saw Hazrat Muhammad SAW when he was in makkah…
someone was telling me the other day…that if u get to see Hazrat Muhammad Sallala hu Alayhe Wasallam in ur dream even once…u go straight to Jannah…is it true?..
The devil cannot take on the form of the Holy Prophet :saw: Atleast that is what I have been told. Besides I don’t think anyone gets to see the Prophet Muhammad’s face itself, he is just present.
That is one of the most known hadith about this matter.
If someone is told/has an intuition in the dream that the person he/she is seeing is the prophet:saw:, it is the promise of the Prophet:saw: himself that such can never be a lie.
Oh Allah, where should I start…from the Nine Hajj(s) or seeing Prophet Muhammad:saw:. Ok, may be he did see him…but nine hajj(s). You know its required only once. Ok so a person goes maybe twice or three times…but nine. In today’s day and age when they draw raffles to find out who gets to go nine time is too much and taking the opportunity away from someone more deserving (only because he/she has not been able to go even once). Just my 2 cents.
I think that is a big blessings to perfrom 9 Hajj. Allah:swt: only looks for pure intentions and He makes His servents come to Him. No one other performing an extra Hajj can be hurdle in coming between any person. Remember, it is only fardh on those who have money and resources. So, the deserving are only the one with resources, and once you have resources, only ALLAH:swt: can make you not to come. No human being can do that.
If I will have a chance, I will never let it go just like that. The fardh is One, sunnah is also one. more than one is nafil and why not if I can?
I saw Prophet Muhammad (sas) once when i was very young. I was very young, probably around 10 at that time and I still remember every bit of that dream; its as if i saw it last night.
Femme i got to see the Prophets face, i mean i saw from his front, but i dont remember the minor details of his face. I just know what he was wearing and his overall experience.
Abu Hurayrah reported Allah's Messenger (sas) as saying, "Whoever has seen me in a dream has in fact seen me, for Satan does not appear in my form"

Abu Hurayrah stated that he heard the Prophet (sas) say, "Whoever sees me in a dream will see me when awake, and Satan cannot imitate me in form."
AQ: thats what i/kaleem was saying. he had the resources, he could have helped those perform the hajj, who did not have the resources to do it themselves. khair. doing hajj 9 times and doing sajdas thousand times, does not make anyone more jannati or naik. n u can't possibly see the Prophet pbuh if u dont know how he looks like.
hajj is not fardh of the person who does not have resources. That is a very clead ruling already.
and about seeing the prophet:saw: I can’t argue more on that if a hadeeth can’t convince a person. My words are not stronger than the prophet:saw: and can’t never be. I use his words to bring strength in my point.
That being said, theres also something that should be taken into consideration.
After quoting the hadith on seeing the Prophet (pbuh) in a dream, Ibn Seereen was reported in Sahih al Bukhari as saying: “Only if he sees the Prophet (pbuh) in his actual form”
[Bukhari vol.. 9 p104 no 122, Abu Dawood vol. 3 p 1396]
It was also reported that when someone told Ibn Seereen that he saw the Prophet (pbuh) in a dream, he would ask the person to describe whom he saw. If the person mentioned characteristics unknown to Ibn Seereen, he would tell him that he had not seen the Prophet (pbuh)
[Ibn Hajar declared this Hadeeth to be Saheeh, Fath al Baaree vol. 12 p400].
AQ, how selfish can you be? You know my father performed his first hajj in 1976…my mother had been wanting to perform the Hajj for the longest time since 1976. She had to wait until 2004 to do that. You know why…because her number never came up in the “Qura Andazzi”…and selfish folks go for hajj more than once because they know some one and in the process depriving otherwise qualified (from religious and financial stand point) people. Think of others …its also a quality of a good muslim…dont make me quote a hadeeth on that…you should know that.
That is why they say that following a religion without understanding or comprehending the issues and reasoning behind it leads to such foils where people feel proud to deprive someone else just so can they can say I did x number of hajjs.
Sharaabi: that I never knew. All I heard and read was the hadeeth and not the part added by Ibn-e-Sereen. In fact, most of the speakers I heard hold the same as what said. I must be more careful next time.
and Kaleem: I alread said: once you have resources, only ALLAH can make you not to come. No human being can do that. Somethings are beyond the five senses.
Really, AQ...try that again. Do you know how many people get to perform hajj more than once from Pak because they know some one who can help get their number each and everytime....How pathetic is this? You want to perform Hajj but does not mind trampling upon Haqooq-il-Ibaad...selfishness pure selfishness.
Next time, read the regulations of who can and can not perform the hajj after performing it the first time before jumping up and down. Allah:saw: had written for your mother to perform a Hajj at the right time and He blessed her at His will and when He finds the right time.
