The way I see it, it is hard to invent a spacecraft by looking at the hind quarters of a camel. The world has moved on, there are new ideas on how to solve problems in a sophisticated modern society. However, if people insist on seeing nothing but what was written before the 10th c. by some Arabs and consider everthing else bida, then such a society is going to have a hard time moving forward.
