Political stability is not an issue of discussion here. The claim being made is that secular government is a key to economic progress. Yet there is no evidence to suggest that. It is a claim that most economists do not even take into account. Secular is the separation of religion and state what does that have to do with economic progress?

Are u kidding me? This has everything to dp with political stability. Secularism lays the ground work for social and political stability. And countries with stability tend to grow economicaly.
The sepration of religion from govt, and its relation to economic growth has already been explained, but u dont seem to get it.
