As per census, way more young males in Pak compared to girls than how can we justify polygamy in men, if at all as per ratio girls should have a choice for polygamy.

Also physiologically a man is not equipped to met the needs of one female, let alone many. It is not for love, it is always for ego and insecurities, as OP had mentioned that they are usually the UGGS involved. My belief is that the UGGS master the moves as they need to compensate for plain looks. Good looking guys are not very skilled players as they never had to fight for female attention.

its a complete myth that there is more women than men. The only reason why in certain stats there is more women is because they tend to outlive men as they have less cardiovascular diseases. so after the age of 60, there will be alot more women than men. But no one is marrying those 60 year olds anyway.
if you look at young child bearing population, there is usually either equal ratio of men to women, or sometimes even more men than women.

Is it me or is it becoming too common in North America? I am referring to Middle-aged Married Muslim Men, doing a secret Nikah within North America. Secret not just from the whole society but also from the first wife of course.
Forget about legal or ethical, I am not even sure if it can be done Islamically.
In my situation, I would have been ok with marrying my 1st love secretly because I really wanted him. He picked his parents choice over me. I think 10 years of relationship with him cannot be forgotten. He was my biggest dream. I didn't marry him because of society even he wanted to. If I had an option, I would have married him out of true love that still remains.
He was my bf before he got married.

if you are not happy with your marriage then doing second marriage is not a bad idea but why you are getting married secretly. it means that you are afraid of some one who can interfere in your second marriage or don't want to tell about your second marriage to any one.
In my case, the reason I would have hidden it due to parents disapproval. My priorities are different as I don't want the husband to stick with me 24/7. The criteria was only to marry for love and not expecting any rights... Whatever happens, it happens for the best. Now, I am engaged and he is not my true love but I am happy.
