just read the post from the beginning and would like to say to Pak Mariam that these scenarios are getting pretty regular now
the imported women (usually original wife) will feel that they cant leave although some say they are going back to their parents in the indian sub continent, parents send her back and tell her to hold onto her investment(husband)
the second wife feels they have more hold over husband because she "loves" him, whereas the the first marriage was merely arranged
and anyway "we cant help who we fall in love with"

well, men know best in our culture ...dont they, if they feel its ok to bring in another wife well ....it must be...mustnt it?
