Re: Second wife =home wrecker always?
Why would I have a problem with your iq? Who the hell are you anyway? I dont even know you, dont need your iq to fix any issue in my life. The only thing I have a problem with is you continuing to quote me to ask basic questions about your birth religion which your parents should’ve taught you. You are the one who continues to quote my replies to other posters when Im not even addressing you. Officially a third crazy who sits here 24/7 to chase and attack people for no reason.
This is the 2nd post on this topic and 3rd or 4th on the forum where you’ve said you’re done with me while writing a wall of text.
There were several questions I asked myself before I finally decided Islam wasn’t for me:
**1) What if I hadn’t been born a muslim? Would I convert to it? **This led to the second question.
**2) Can it be proven that there is a god and that Islam is this god’s final religion? **The answer was no and still is no.
**3) If there is a god, would he\she punish me for not believing in his\her existence when I wasn’t provided with sufficient evidence? **This led to the next question.
**4) Assuming god exists, is this a reasonable god? **A reasonable god will understand my reasons for not believing and not punish me for it. However, an unreasonable god would not care for there being no evidence. But then, an unreasonable god cannot be expected to honor his\her promises for heaven or hell.
Assuming god exists, me believing in him\her should have no bearing on me going to heaven or hell (if these places are real).
**5) Which religion is from god? **There are 1000s of religions. A believer rejects all of them but one. I reject them all. Assuming there is a god, heaven and hell; a believer’s chances of making it into heaven are only marginally better than mine. It could be said that 0.1% chance is still better than a 0% chance of success, but how do I pick.
The purpose of writing these questions was to show that I have indeed spent time thinking about the concept of god and the question of his\her existence.
PS1: Where did I get my knowledge of Islam? Islamic Studies curriculum in Pakistan. Islamic websites like islamqa.com . I’ve read the quran and it’s just a book. The evidence of divinity doesn’t reveal itself when I read it.
PS2: Regardless of whether my IQ is low, average or high, you believe allah gave me my IQ so according to your core beliefs I can’t really be blamed or praised for it. You have a problem with my IQ take it up with your god.
