STI’s are caused by having sex with a partner who has the virus. The chances of getting an STI should almost be the same whether it’s one man and multiple women or vice versa. The chances should be pretty low as long as all the partners are clean before entering the union and all stay faithful to the marriage (no sex outside the marriage).

I’ll concede on the UTI front because women are at a higher risk to begin with and multiple partner & more frequent intercourse are among known risk factors.

That said, I think everyone should be free to make such decisions for themselves. Who are we to judge as long as everyone in the marriage is happy with the arrangement?

And yes multiple partners make a difference.

I don’t agree for my family personally. But, if it floats their boat and it works more power to them.

I don’t understand how no one can think in terms of if this is my daughter…what do I want for her? Put the question that way and consider do you want your daughter sleeping with several men…married or not.

Yes, I believe traditional “old way” of thinking…marriage is respectable between one man and one woman…unless that family wants another wife.
But, having a wife and a mistress is disrespect to the marriage. And the mistress is a whore.

Yup…I’m “old fashioned” “traditional” whatever.

A woman with more than one man is just silly. But…as they say here in the states…it’s your circus and your monkeys run it how you want to.
