TLK May be we did it already before i allowed him for 2nd marriage. but if he fails to have aulad from 2nd marriage too, then i ll doubt the doctor report. Plus instead of him having all the fun in the name of having kids, i will like to try something new too

Khair, coming back to the original question, if a woman wants to have kids (lets say that husband has medical issues) then she is left with only two choices (and not three that PG mentioned)

Adopt or Divorce.

if you did the test and then you ALLOWED him to remarry then really you cannot judge him if he fails to have aulad.

Okay, for my edification, can a stepfather marry his stepdaughter (his wife’s daughter from a previous marriage)after his wife has passed away? I remember a really old Pakistani drama (maybe it was Khuda ki Basti, don’t remember) and the stepfather wanted to marry the stepdaughter.

And I promise, my intention is not to derail the thread or to bring in salacious questions, but these are just questions that came to me from the discussion.

you asked the same question by switching the gender .. A man cannot marry a woman and her daughter (together or separately). Now if the step-daughter was also his wife’s step-daughter (her previous hubby’s previous wife’s daughter) then I think he can.

And yes, the play was Khuda ki Basti.

he cant marry step daughter, but he can marry his step son’s wife (if she is widow, or divorced).
