okay jokes apart !! acc to my defination a person is called a first class citizen of a country where he/ she was born in … like i was born in pakistan , so i’m first class citizen over there , i can’t be first class citizen any where else no matter how many citizenships i hav … but not sure about 2nd or 3rd class sorts , or may be i don’t wanna know one

technically speaking, ya it should b like dat, but wat i see is its more of racial color issue. (majority onez dominate, rest is second, third degree)

that pretty much nails it. and i am sure pakistani abroad have realized the meaning at same stage of their lives if not first hand than through observation. but if we wanna play innocent then who?what?where?

There are no classes in citizenships...you are a citizen or not a citizen...period... :)
PS: Different people are treated differently at times...but thats a different issue...bingo... :D

ahmadjee bhaijaan, second class citizen is how everyone in Pakistan in general gets treated under law and order except the elite and the fauji (captain and above ohda). first class citizen is how everyone in US in general gets treated under its law and order. :k:

PA, can you please share your experience so we can all learn.
1)
applied for a job with an apparant muslim name, wear hijab and bingo you have an experience.
2) be abused verablly mostly in the train stations and public places, guard standing by not a single word.
3)junkies beat the crap out of family memebers, call the police and they dont show up at time, a neighbour shelters the siblings,later police demands witness neighbour steps in, no action taken what so ever. later the same junkies beat up a cop and all hell breaks lose.
4)being given the lowest dungeon in the work quarters as a place to pray and that too turns into the meeting room most lunch hours.
5) most people cant step out of work for 5 to 10 minutes to smoke a fag but a friend gets fired cuz he takes off to pray for 5 minutes. EEO complaint launched not much being done.
plenty more that i havent experienced personally but have witnessed close hand.

A reasonable definition but I think everyone claiming that in the US should get in line behind the Native Americans, Blacks, religious right to gays and even women who all believe their rights are not considered first and foremost.

In America, people like to point out that why are you complaining about your rights when you have running water, electricity and your general rights are protected? This is true, but the overall picture is very different. It is no secret that white men enjoy better life than blacks. Men get paid higher than females. Gays are not allowed to have family.
