OBL was not Muslim so there is no question of Islamic burial or disrespect.
Quran and my Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) tells me that any person who by his own free will, kills or facilitate killing of innocent children, men and women, Muslims and Non-Muslim (even in a war) is not even a human let alone Muslim.

One thing is for sure this operation has raised more questions than answers. The way whole scenario took place and even afterwards no satisfactory answers......
On top of it they dumped the body mafia style even before the official annoucment of Bin Laden's killing.... Definately a stupid thing to do.

Its very hard for me to believe. What I think that they probably threw the body in the sea inside vacuum sealed coffin with some transmitting device to keep track of its location and can bring the body back whenever they want to.

Osama Bin laden was already old when 9/11 happened. I think he died in around 2004 or 05 in Afghanistan somewhere in a mountain. They probably buried him somewhere in a cave. The lack of images shown by the media suggests that America is using another incentive to invade Pakistan on the basis of increased terrorist activity after OBL's death.
