What you said and what the Wiki article says might look like the same thing but its more about eliminating all obvious possibilities. Basically you select the simplest hypothesis and then pick at its simplicities until you reach a point where you are satisfied with it. It is not just about saying ‘The simplest hypothesis is the most accurate one’. I hope I’ve been coherent in my explanation. :o
