Re: Scots voted 55 per cent to 45 per cent against independence
Scottish Nationalism is a reality, no doubt. But you cannot underestimate the power of shared community, history, language, culture and opportunities between people of England and Scotland.
I was very sympathetic to the Yes vote, may have even supported it here and there. But as the polling day approached, I genuinely didn’t want Scotland to go! It would’ve been an extremely sad day.
But I cannot wait to see the great debates on devolution and the subsequent constitutional reforms.
