Re: schools in Islamabad
I had a horrible time at Froebels (stayed there for about 6 months). It’s a “daycare” centre for the rich spoiled offsprings of aristocrats and nothing more. It’s one of the top most schools of islmabad (Benezir’s son studied there), private, but sucks when it comes to education. Just my opinion.
(the fact that it is co-ed is a huge problem for the teachers and the kids studyin in it).However, OPF is an excellent school! Again i was there for about 6 months but i learned so much. They really do teach there. Its a private school, again.. benezir’s daughter used to study there :D, alongwith other kids belonging to the rich and famous. The only difference is it’s not co-ed. They started off with a girls school but then they built one for boys.excellent teachers who don’t live off privately tutoring kids. If they teach.. they make sure they do IN the classroom, unlike teachers of Froebels who make money outside of the classroom and so don’t really help whislt teachin in school.
I used to study in Froebels too and I think it is one of the best schools in Isloo. However, I must say that some teachers are more favourable towards certain children (I was one of them
