No ... he won't get 38 years hopefully. However, he has just given himself a profile that any IT firm will snap up ... I will not be surprised if he gets a job in six figures straight away.

The article is over sensationalising the crimes. It only proves the schooling system is itself a failure that it cannot ascertain the genius of this boy by repeatedly lowering his grades. He must be quite smart and risky to do what he has done. He did not think it through very well and his folks have not given him a sense of ethics, but everything else .... well ...

stealing system passwords of teachers and logging into their terminals to change grades isnt a spectacular "hacking" feat. Not sure how impressed the IT firms will be from this. Its not like he broke into Pentagon mainframe sitting in a park using his laptop, yanno.

Yep ... but then may be business firms for being one heck of a risk taker. You see he thought laterally. There are not many boys his age who will know how to change their grades and what to do ... if not IT then may be the CIA or something. For some reason he has managed to break free from his shackles of mental conditioning of course ethically he has been wrong and is not good, but in a world where ethics is becoming out of fashion you will see he will be monitored.

His mistake was changing his grades to all A's, he should have been less conspicuous and gone with C's and B's.
