yes, it is indeed. most students pay reduced fees if he/she belongs to scheduled caste/tribes [Hindus, untouchables] and backward class [lower caste, mostly Muslims]. Indians are now against reservations in jobs/promotions or in admissions because they think that it should be abolished as they have been in place for 68 years...it's tim e to do away with priority treatment.
