I am still in shock:eek:. I went to shop-rite today for my weekly grocery shopping. I, always put my handbag in the cart. So, i placed my handbag in the cart and started to bag apples. There was this woman who was in her early 40s nearby me. She was also bagging something. I walked 4 feet away from my cart to get another shopping bag and this started running off with my cart. At first i did not notice that it was my cart that she was running off with. As soon as i realized, i started running after her and she stopped and i asked her very loudly as to what was she trying to do??? And, she replies, oh i only saw a black bag in there and thought it was mine. And, let me tell you guppies, her bag was a giant size black tote, whereas mine was a small black bag. Plus, why would you run??? I wanted to report her to the Customoer Service area but was too upset. I have a headache from this incident.
I have never experienced such an experience in all my life. I can never trust anyone anymore!!!
Fortunately I've never experienced anything like this BUT then again, I NEVER let my purse out of my sight even for a moment when I'm in public........all it takes is a moment for something like this to happen.
That's why I keep my important stuff in a wallet in my pocket. If I ever feel another man's hand on my pocket then I know something is not quite right....
I am always paranoid that someone will take my purse if I place it in the shopping cart. So I am one of those morons who always carry the purse on her arm while shopping and rolling the shopping cart around w/ groceries only.
I never put my handbag on the trolley or anywhere else...i always have it with me...u just can't trust ppl and u can't watch ur trolley the whole time ur shopping so i find it easier to have it on my shouder and that way my hands are free and i have a peace of mind, not worrying if some1 is near my handbag...:)
One time I left my purse in a cart at target's parking lot.
Drove to walmart which was 10 mins away.
Realized what had
happened, rushed back to target and very fortunately
found my purse in the same cart where I had left it. It was dark and very close to
closing time, I think that's the reason I got lucky.
Maybe you should move from the current neighborhood to a nicer, safer, cleaner neighborhood.
First it was food poisoning, now wallet stealing. One thing which is common is that your life revolves around food or places that deal with food (to be politically correct).
yuck! i remember going to the bazaar in pak with my mom when i was young and old men trying to rub against women’s bodies. qabbar mein paoon latkaye baithey thay magerr horny as hell.
FOB: FYI, i live in a very nice, clean and safe area. You could only wish you were in my shoes. What is it to you if my life revolves around food or gupshup???
Code-Red: itni si baat nahi thee na issilye. I have never had that happened to me. And trust me it was not an accident she ran off with my purse in the cart. And the look on her face was totally a one found on a thief’s face.
Ladies...give me a break...what if you lost or your purse stolen...you are not carrying a fortune in your purse...may be 25 bucks at the most...so chill now...and cheers...lol
PS: I know some women...they carry their purse under their bra...hmmmm
