Once I was dressing my kid (she was 1,5 then) when all of a sudden something caught her attention. Something on the bare wall to be precisely. She laughd at it and pointed at it and started to talk to it. I asked her what is there. She said ‘woh’, and laughed again and said ‘jao jao’ to it.
Then she asked ‘it’ to come to her, making a hand movement and that is when I thought: okay, time to go to another room.
I am sure the ‘thing’ was something good, otherwise she wouldnt have been laughing, but it gave me the shivers.
No This one my mamu told me when he used to go to school there in the mid 1980s, he told me another story that once late night he was coming back from seeing an Anjuman and Muhammad Ali movie (Lollywood) and missed his wagon back home so he walked all the way from the theatre and middle of the way he and his friend had to cross this graveyard which they did and after crossing it they saw a woman with black hair and a black kameez with feet turned backwards walking towards them saying "Rukh jao...Rukh jaooo." My mamo realized that it was a "Churail" **so they decided to take off their clothes **because apparently that's a proven method to ward off "Churails" then they ran for their lives.
I've heard the same story from my uncles back homes, minus the taking off the clothes bit.
You sure it's not a way to cover up all the sneaky affairs that go on in the village??

This story has occurred with a lot of people so it sheds credibility that this is a real event and that this Churail is haunting at various places in Pakistan. But i don't think you have to take off your clothes, but i guess its a way to ward off evil.

Joke aside, my cousin got possessed by a female jin and everyone saw the scratches appearing on his back....reason behind it was that one day he peed under a tree and the jin lived on that tree. She got offended and started scaring him and harming him until his dad (my uncle who was an exorcist) got rid of her by reading Quranic verses and taking an oath from her.

Pendo, you know I’ve been avoiding this thread since two days because whenever I do come across this thread, its after midnight. Now that its not night time I have come in and I want to tell you that STOP SCARING MASOOM PEOPLE !!!
I know soo many scary stories.. anyway here is one which was shared by one of our family friends...lets name him H:
"H" used to work in Pittsburgh and his family lived in countryside outside of Toronto. So he would visist them every few months. This is around Christmas time. He left home at night to beat rush hour and so he can go straight to work in the morning. He said there came a deserted street. As he was driving by a man was standing on the side of the road trying to stop his car. He was like I was in two minds whether to stop his car or not but he said the guy looked decent so he decided to stop the car and ask what he wants (Mind you this is about 12-13 yrs ago). The guy said his car broke down and would "H" be kind enough to drop him at a bus stop? "H" said sure cuz when he reaches Toronto he will be able to drop him. H said that they got talking and the guy said to him he is from Pittsburgh and his family lives there. "H" was surprised and he said well I am going to Pittsburgh. The guy goes to "H" that unfortunately he won't be able to go home for Christmas but would "H" do him a favour and give something to his family. He gave him an envelope and the address. Well, "H" dropped the guy at a bus stop and he went on his way. When "H" got to Pittsburgh, he decided to drop the envelope to that guys house before heading to work. He got to his house and he asked for the guys's wife. The wife came to the door so "H" told her that her husband gave him this envelope to give to her. "H" said she started screaming at him saying is he insane and if this is some sort of a joke she will call the cops on him and what not. Her daughter came from inside calmed her mother and asked "H" what he wants. He told her how he met the guy and he gave him the envelope. The daughter told "H" that it couldn't be him cuz his dad died last year when he was on his way to see his family for Christmas.
P.s. Now I don't know how true this story is or if "H" was making it up. We were kids when he told us this and loved it.
there are some kids who can see things that us adults can't. One of my mom's cousins when he was young a jinn was his friend (plz don't laugh because jinnat do exist and live with us and Quran says so)
First his mom would find him playing at night outside and talking to someone but she couldn't see who he is playing and talking to. Then next morning when asked he said it was his friend so and so. She asked him if he can tell his friend that his mom wants to see him. And that jinn kid showed himself to her once only.
No no, it was a famous one. Associated with Tez Gaam or some other Train that passes the desert between Karachi and Hyderabad during night time. Just imagine, low light inside passenger cabin, everyone is dozing, pitch dark oustide the train, and a head pops in asking for a cigarette lighter.
