Say ALLAH not khuda

In the name of ALLAH Most Gracious Most Merciful.
All my brothers,
ALLAH bless you,
it is more shocking that whenever we say something about ALLAH,we caste aside His proper name ALLAH and his 99 attributive names and happy to use the word"Khuda" instead.
this additude is very negative indeed because we can use word"Khuda" for the thousand of gods in Greek Mythogy, for gods in Hindu literature, and for others gods as well.
in fact “khuda” is a common name for any thing which is worshiped. But ALLAH is proper name of One who created everything.
in Quran ALLAH says

**Surah Al-A’raf **(Surah 7)Ayah 180
**The most beautiful names belong to Allah: so call on Him by them; but shun such men as use profanity in His names: for what they do they will soon be requited. **

for **ALLAH **(the Creator),to use a word like “Khuda” which even be used for His creature is definately unjustifiable.
we have to think that if we say " khuda, khuda, khuda" hundred times, can it be called as"Zikre". only those who have pending mental surgery will reply"yes"
because according to Hadeeth,ALLAH has 99 Attributive names and word “God” and"Khuda" is not part of that
Hadith 8.419Narrated by Abu HurairaSahih Al-Bukhari Hadith)

]Allah has ninety-nine Names, i.e., one hundred minus one, and whoever believes in their meanings and acts accordingly, will enter Paradise; and Allah is Witr (one) and loves ‘the Witr’ (i.e., odd numbers

so please replace the word khuda by ALLAH, so that the angels recognize you by your talk that you are a muslim
it is your obligatory duty to spread these kind of messages as you can,

Hadith Qudsi
Hadith Qudsi 22

Let not any one of you belittle himself. They said: O Messenger of Allah, how can any one of us belittle himself? He said: He finds a matter concerning Allah about which he should say something, and he does not say [it], so Allah (mighty and sublime be He) says to him on the Day of Resurrection: What prevented you from saying something about such-and-such and such-and-such? He say: [It was] out of fear of people. Then He says: Rather it is I whom you should more properly fear.
with best regards
Syed Abdur Rehman

Re: Say ALLAH not khuda

what does 'Khuda' mean?

Re: Say ALLAH not khuda

Khuda means Parwardigar (in Farsi / Persian)

Re: Say ALLAH not khuda

so Khudahafiz is wrong?

Re: Say ALLAH not khuda

No it is not .... Khuda = Allah = Parwardigar = Palnay Wala = GOD ....

I think it is new Molvi Tahrik ....

Re: Say ALLAH not khuda

Khuda is not wrong. Read what you post up. It says don't use profanity to refer to God. Khuda is not a profane word. It means Lord.

This stems from the movement to Arabize Islam.

Next, we shouldn't speak in our own languages, but we should start speaking Arabic, because all non-Arabic words that refer to the same objects are profane, just because they're not Arabic.

Then terms like "God" shouldn't be used either, right?

Silly.

Re: Say ALLAH not khuda

I didn't read the post above(very first one).

But I use to say allah hafiz too. then I met a pakistani christian and a pakistani hindu.
I noticed that they don't use word allah but they have no problem saying khuda or khuda hafiz.

Since then I always say khuda hafiz. Plus if you come across persian people they also say khuda hafiz.
So

Re: Say ALLAH not khuda

exactly!

So according to the orginal poster Parwardigar, Palnay Wala are all wrong?

Re: Say ALLAH not khuda

I have a question. What exactly does 'Allah' mean?

Re: Say ALLAH not khuda

I don't know why but they have made this a political issue, which started during General Zia's era. If you see old PTV dramas they use to say Khuda Haafiz as farewell till mid or early 80s then rafta rafta it changed to Allah Haafiz. In my opinion both are right.

Re: Say ALLAH not khuda

I wonder, calling Allaah is a problem, when Allaah says call by beautiful names n the Quran i wonder how come people argue on such topics. This is a trivial issue but important.
Well from next time, i can call Allaah as Brahma, Bhagwan all mean the same yes all means the same well would be people then accept it. If Khuda is right then Bhagwan, Brahma in South India they call as Devaru common, now let us argue on this.
Well people tend to argue when Allaah is mentioned call by its beautiful names, Khuda is a word not found in the Quran. Well the Sunnah was to say Salamvalekum not even Khuda Hafiz but thats ok.

Bhagwan aapki raksha kare, aur Brahma aap logon ko bachaye.
Ameen

Re: Say ALLAH not khuda

ohoo no need to get all emotional. Its not a problem calling God as Allah...its a problem when others have a problem with those who call God....Khuda.

and Khuda, Parwardigar, Palnay Wala is no monkey headed idol.

Re: Say ALLAH not khuda

Did i ever say dont call ur getting emotional i told call, even i will call is that fine.

Well as a Muslim we tend to s peak to our Muslim brothers in the way Allaah is mentioned in the Quran well.

Bhagwan aapka bhala kare. Brahma aapko kush rake. Cool down i told u this is trivial issue dont jump around, nothign to get emotional brother.

Re: Say ALLAH not khuda

well i agree with slave of ALLAH that "ALAH" is the real name and is stated in quran. and khuda and GOd are not right.
Atleast we shouldn't say GOD because this is coming from roman rulers and they have GODSSES too.and ALLAH is the only one.

Re: Say ALLAH not khuda

Meaningless word games.

Allah was simply what the Arabs called the one and only God. The jews wouldn't even take His name, but it was not Allah...but Yaw-h.

If God was not offended by different peoples calling Him different things, you should not either.

Re: Say ALLAH not khuda

hilarious :D

Re: Say ALLAH not khuda

who is Allah? Define Allah for me, will you?

Re: Say ALLAH not khuda

Ya Allah !!!
will we keep arguing on little things!!!

Its the intention in the heart plus trying to use Allah more will give you reward where as khuda will not give you reward as it is not one of the 99 names of Allah !

That is all this is about..nothing more.....

Re: Say ALLAH not khuda

.

Re: Say ALLAH not khuda

I wonder, why Allaah wants us to be united. Thats right, we should be disunited in all the ways.

Well since this is a trivial issue, I have put my point across and you have done it too.

Well, can we now look into the Hadith now and can you share from the Hadith what Prophet said, i have commented and no one is brought the Hadith, from the first post ad the Hadeeth present i Tirmidhi, and Bukhari.
