Perhaps you did not read the news ...... no one is begging ... Pakistan has signed the MOU for this, the leadership in Pakistan knows what is good for the country ..... rest can feel bitter about it ... their choice !!!
This was requested by Afghanistan .... as they want goods from India and since they signed an MOU for transit of goods through Pakistan they wanted Indian goods to pass through Pakistan. Well it is really in teh inetrest of Pakistan to allow Afghans to trade with Indiaas they will HAVE to pass through Afghanistan if they want to trade with Central Asia

This is precisely your father's generation and earlier generations have dreamt off aka "Isolating Pakistan". This is why Indians are supporting, aiding, and abetting the dimwit-anti-Pak elements in Afghanistan and Iran too. To isolate Pakistan.

The time is not right for this transit route.
1) First india must show that it has dismantled all its terrorism infrastructures in Afghanistan and no longer financing/training/arming terrorists to kill innocent Pakistanis.
2) It should start honouring its international agreements and stop stealing Pakistan's share of water
3) It should stop threatening us with war every 2nd 3rd year
4) It should recognize Kashmir as a dispute and solve it
Unless they meet these conditions, no trade transit route for india.
I personally don't see india rolling back its state policy of exporting terrorism to neighboring countries.
So then do trade via Siachen or whatever suits you, good luck with that.
Stop begging Pakistan for a trade route.
